Early Pay
Early Pay is a convenient, new service for Coast Central members that grants you access to your direct deposits up to two days prior to their scheduled payment dates.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does it work?
Once Coast Central receives information about your incoming direct deposit from your payor, our
team is now able to process the funds even quicker to make them available for your use up to two
days earlier than your scheduled pay date. Early availability of your direct deposit is based on
the timing of the payor’s payment instructions.
Is there a fee with Early Pay?
There is no fee for this benefit, nor with Direct Deposit.
What do I need to do to receive my money early?
Early Pay is automatically included, whether you have already established Direct Deposit or will
be doing so in the future. No additional enrollment is required.
Will I always get my direct deposit early?
It is dependent on when or if your payor notifies us of the incoming deposit. When they do, we can
credit your pay or benefits to your account. If they do not notify us prior to the deposit coming to
CCCU, you will receive access on its scheduled date.
How will I know if I get paid?
Easily set up alerts in Online or Mobile Banking to get notified each time:
- From the Menu, under Messages & Alerts, click on Transaction Alerts
- Choose which account will be receiving the deposit and click Open
- Click on the Notifications Menu, then Alerts
- Choose Manage Alerts, then toggle Automatic Deposits to “on”
We will automatically notify you any time a direct deposit is received. To avoid any overdraft fees,
make sure to confirm you have received your direct deposit before performing transactions.
Why aren’t I getting paid early?
That is likely because your payor did not submit your direct deposit information in advance of its
scheduled payment date. If the information is not submitted early enough, your direct deposit may
not arrive early. Please contact your payor for additional information.
Can I opt out of Early Pay?
No, Early Pay is a service that is automatically provided free of charge to all members who receive
direct deposit.
How do I set up Direct Deposit?
You’ll need to provide information to your payor, including CCCU’s routing number and your account information. Visit our Member Assistance page for the information you need as well as the Set-up Form or stop by any CCCU location. Complete the form and then provide it to your payor.
